Inverness is a remote town, and only has a handful of restaurants nearby. Foodies! Do not despair! Panorma is the hotel’s formal dining restaurant, which offers delicious and creative dishes. The floor to ceiling windows provide unbeatable views of the golf course and ocean. It was not uncommon to watch the late tee-off golfers finishing up their round, providing for some free entertainment to all those enjoying their meal.
If you prefer a more causal option, check out Cabot Public House. Also, for early risers, Cabot Bar is available for breakfast and also serves lunch.
If you need a change in food scenery, I recommend Glenora Inn and Distillery. It’s located 15-20 minutes from Cabot Links and the menu offers a variety of options (they even had some vegan friendly dishes). If you find yourself venturing in the other direction of the island (about 45-60 min away), to the town of Baddeck, make sure to check out Baddeck Lobster Suppers for steamed lobsters and mussels.
