Local history: At the beginning of snow season, there is a pagan style party that worships the god of snow. People celebrate in bars and clubs and sacrifice skis to a bonfire.

Fun fact: The most commonly heard foreign accent is: Australian! There are so many visitors from down-under, that the city has been nicknamed โ€œWhistralia.โ€
