The touch tank / animal encounter / shark feeding experience The Flamingo Sanctuary where you can go behind the scenes and feed the birds Play on the white sand beach ✈️HOW TO GET THERE: If you’re based in NYC, you can catch a 3 hr flight to Nassau. From there, the hotel is only 12 minutes from the airport. We arranged for a hotel transfer with car seats already installed. 📅BEST TIME OF YEAR TO VISIT: I’ve been to the Bahamas in both February and August and found both times of the year to be heavenly. If you visit in February you’ll skip the heat waves of the summer — it’s a very pleasant time of year to visit. However, the ocean temperature isn’t as warm as the summer (still nice though). July and August will be hot (high 80s/90s) but the water temp is perfect in summertime. ❓WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING: There are 3 hotels on property, @grandhyattbahamar, @rosewoodbahamar and @slsbahamar. No matter which one you stay at, you’ll have access to the Baha Mar waterpark. @rosewoodbahamar is a 5 star luxury hotel. Guests also have access to a private pool and beach. It’s a good family friendly option too. @grandhyattbahamar and @slsbahamar are 4 star properties. We chose @grandhyattbahamar because it has great family room configurations. Feeling very grateful for this family - and for ou Feeling very grateful for this family - and for our memories today and always. 💕 This year our Thanksgiving tradition was completely remixed. We traded in our cranberry sauce, stuffing, and (vegetarian) Turkey for Sicilian pistachio pesto pasta, eggplant caponata, and cannolis all day long. Verdict? Incredibly delicious. Equally stuffed. Completely relaxed. Glad I still packed the stretchy pants 🙃 Will be sharing more about this experience soon! Stay tuned

We’ve traveled to 30 luxury family resorts, and We’ve traveled to 30 luxury family resorts, and this was the kid’s favorite 🤩 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩 📍Where? @bahamarresorts 🤦🏼‍♀️First, a mom confession: I was hesitant to visit this hotel. While I’d heard great things before going, Baha Mar is a 2,000 hotel room complex- which isn’t usually my personal preference. But, the kids were asking about waterslides…so off we went. My mom verdict: I LOVED IT! Is it a bit…Vegas meets Disney? Yes, 100% However, the kids had an incredible time, the rooms were clean and luxurious, the setting was perfect, and there was so much to do. Here’s why it’s spectacular to visit for families: 1️⃣UNBELIEVABLE WATER PARK: There is a waterslide for every age here! Whether it’s dad shooting down, or you diaper-wearing little ones embarking on their first slide, it’s a blast! There’s also a lazy river, wave pools, and splash zones. And if you’d prefer to sit by the pool, there’s plenty of space with 8 pools - some have aquariums, cliff jumps, waterfalls, and infinity pools. You can’t go wrong 😎 2️⃣KID FRIENDLY ENTERTAINMENT: The kids will love doing the Flamingo encounter, visiting the sting rays and sharks, or exploring the interactive tanks to learn about star fish and crabs. 3️⃣WONDERFUL BEACH: The beach that lines the shores of Baha Mar is spacious and serene! There’s beautiful white sand and vibrant marine life. 4️⃣CAMP BAHA MAR: Kids can embark on exciting adventures at Camp Baha Mar - like cooking classes, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, and more. There’s even a toddler play room. 5️⃣PLENTY OF DINING OPTIONS: There are tons of dining options on site. Our favorites were Cleo and Katsuya.
