Luxury Hotel Review: Onsea House
Onsea House was the perfect โWelcome-to-Tanzania-hereโs-a-lovely-place-to-crashโ hotel.ย Coming from NYC, the journey to Tanzania for our honeymoon felt like a week-long airplane ride. ย When we finally landed we were exhausted, hungry, and in desperate need for a clean place to sleep. ย When I initially planned the trip, I thought we'd hit the ground running and be ready for safari adventures. ย Oh boy! ย That was not the case -- ย instead, we landed and were ready to hit the snooze button.ย
When we pulled into Onsea House, I couldโve given the hotel a hug. ย I was so happy to see clean white sheets! The hosts greeted us warmly, and gave a quick tour of the grounds, which included a dining area and pool overlooking the Arusha mountains. ย We recharged with a power nap, and then devoured a dinner of sea bass and soup; I felt fed and ready to start my safari adventures. ย ย
Would I Return?
The next morning we left early and departed to the Serengeti, but our stay at Onsea House was a wonderful "mini" vacation on its own. ย The staff was helpful and courteous, and the warm welcome was the perfect start to the honeymoon.
